| Let's just say that it's been a long while since I've last blogged. A long while.
The year is almost up already. 2007 seemed to go by extremely fast. It seems like just yesterday I was counting down to the new year with all of my friends. I'm thinking that there is a reason for the fast forward through 2007. Maybe it's just someone's way of saying, "Hey, you're getting married soon. You guys better start planning." Yes, about two and a halfish more years until the big day. May 7, 2010. Why this date? No special reason, it just happened to sound good and it landed on a Friday. It still doesn't seem real. I know that I'm engaged, but I don't think -even after almost a year- that it has hit me yet. I've known since day one that I would spend the rest of my life with Aaron. He's my world and I love him with all that I have. Maybe once I get that first contract signed and send out that first check it will feel real. Who knows, maybe it will never hit me, but at least I know that I'm doing the right thing.
I'm sure that I actually had something to write about but now I'm just too tired to even remember why I started writing in the first place. Ha. This is what a lack of sleep does to you. Maybe I'll remember later and I'll come back and write something valid for once.

| Engaged! So it finally happened! Aaron and I are now engaged! Wow. It's a little weird to say that. I can't believe that in a couple of years I'm going to be his wife. Wow. As soon as I can take some good pictures of us and the ring I'll post em! | | |

| SURPRISE!!!! So, this morning I got a call from my dad saying that they had a surprise for me. At first I thought that it was a car, but then he said that the surprise was for the whole family. Then I thought that maybe they got a puppy, but then right after that I screamed and looked at Aaron and said "RUBY'S PREGNANT!" When I got to my parents' house my dad opened the front door and said "You're going to be very surprised." I walked in and I saw that my sister and my mom were sitting on the couch and my mom was holding a baby. I thought, "Whose baby is that?" My dad said "This is your niece, Isabelle." I completely freaked out. I was in disbelief. I started crying and basically trembling. I didn't know that my sister was pregnant for sure. I sat down and held my niece. My heart just felt like it was going to pop out of my chest. I couldn't believe it. I still can't! She was born on Friday, November 10th at 1:09 p.m. She's absolutely beautiful. I can't believe that my sister is a mommy now. Yesterday was the happiest day of my life. We got to take her shopping and my mom and I spoiled that baby like there was no tomorrow. Just wait until Christmas. Thank you Ruby and Mike for giving us the newest edition to our family. I'll post some pictures soon. Very soon. | | |
| FINALLY!!! So last Thursday I finally heard back from that company. I GOT THE JOB! I'm so excited. I start on Sunday. I just can't wait until I get back into the swing of things. Even better news is that I got a second job after talking to Aaron. He's now the Assistant Manager at Papa John's after being there for only two months! He was complaining to me that no one there likes to answer the phones so I told him that I would answer the phones. He asked if I was serious and said "If you worked there, you would only answer the phones?" I said "yes." and he talked to the other managers and told them that he found someone to answer phones. haha. So, I guess I got the job. The only thing is that we can't tell anyone that we're dating because you know the rule about the whole manager-employee thing. It won't be a problem anyway because it's not like I'm going to try to do anything with him while I'm working. I'll be too busy working. lol. Not sure when I'm going to start there. Things are really starting to look up for once. All I had to do was be patient, but I couldn't even do that. So I got all worried for nothing. Amazing. Oh yeah, I'm also officially moved in with Aaron. I have ALL of my stuff there and none of it is in boxes or laundry baskets!!! | | |
